In 1950 Schrodinger suggested that physicists go back to Galileo and redevelop physics with new conceptual models based on acceleration rather than integrals of acceleration over time (i.e., velocity and position). That historical-research project was completed bya cognitive scientist trained in creating mathematical formalisms for models of reality.

Five major cognitive hindrances to creating a unified theory were identified and removed. Faraday-Maxwell-Schrodinger’s universal electromagnetic substrate (their “ ̈ A field”) vibrates with accelerated potential waves that define particle types. This string-like substrate unifies the read more domains of physics and chemistry. Evidence for that unification is provided by two mathematical results reported in this paper:

(1) the general-relativity equation for relativistic gravitational mass-density uses unit steps based on the electron to calculate the rest energies of the muon, nucleon and tau particles for the Standard Model’s three generations.

(2) Einstein’s 1905 pre-Minkowski interval with Galileo’s gravitational law of acceleration gives an intuitive physical meaning to the quantum-number variables for the electron configurations of the elements in the periodic table.
